Donkere kanten

Ik hoorde dit nummer voor het eerst tijdens de voorbereiding van een kerkdienst (!). In deze dienst legden verschillende mensen uit waarom bepaalde nummers hen persoonlijk wat deden. Dit was de keuze van de bandleider: hij vertelde over de worstelingen met de donkere kanten van zijn persoonlijkheid ; en de wetenschap dat ieder mens hiermee van doen heeft. Een mooi uitleg bij een soms cryptische songtekst, maar ik kreeg er hierdoor wel vat op en werd gegrepen.
