Stavesacre – Accelerating Into Brake Lights

Twee weken al (soort van) aangekondigd: de nieuwe muziek van Stavesacre is zéér goed te pruimen. Inmiddels hebben ze lyric videos op YouTube geplaatst wat het mogelijk maakt er hier makkelijk eentje te delen. Frontman Mark Solomon mag ik graag horen in podcasts, zowel zijn eigen podcast als andere. Hij weet het geloven in God altijd weer concreet en tastbaar te maken. In z’n eigen woorden: “I’m a simple man”. Hoe dan ook, met Stavesacre weet hij wederom heerlijke (hard) rock neer te zetten, uiteraard voorzien van zijn ‘signature vocals’. Vandaag een voorproefje met het nummer ‘Accelerating Into Brake Lights’. Zien we hen, in de marge van de samenleving, eigenlijk wel? “Living on the threshold of the eye”
