Living Sacrifice – Rules Of Engagement

De nodige concerten worden door mij bezocht. Vanzelf ontstaat er dan een lijstje in je hoofd met bands waarvan je denkt: “die wil ik nog wel eens live zien”. Die lijst is in de afgelopen jaren korter en korter geworden. Hoog op de lijst staan twee bands: Stavesacre en Living Sacrifice. Je snapt dat ik zéér blij was te horen dat ze in Apeldoorn op het Brainstorm Festival als headliner Living Sacrifice hebben weten te strikken. Respect! Daarnaast óók Project 86, maar die speelt op een andere dag. Gelukkig pakken we die al mee bij Loud & Proud, samen met Demon Hunter. Vandaag daarom muziek van de grondleggers van de christelijke metal(core). Niet per sé mijn favoriete track van het briljante album ‘The Infinite Order’ (5/5 sterrren op JFH), maar wel exemplarisch voor wat deze band biedt.
